Scott is responsible for OwnEnergy’s project development efforts in New England, Mid-Atlantic and the Rocky Mountain region. In these regions, he leads efforts in project origination, land lease contracts, interconnection, permitting & regulatory issues, and power purchase contracts.
Prior to joining OwnEnergy, Scott was the Project Manager for Natenco, LLC, an Ontario-based wind energy developer, active in the province’s Feed-In-Tariff (FIT) and Standard Offer Program (RESOP) market. There he managed the development of multiple projects each with a generating capacity ranging from 10 to 20 MW. Prior to entering the North American wind energy market, he was a fellow of the Robert Bosch Foundation Fellowship Program, where he specialized in the development of renewable energy outreach and development between Germany and the United States at the Deutsche Industrie- und Handelskammertag in Berlin, as well as E.ON Climate & Renewables in Düsseldorf.
Scott holds an International MBA from the University of South Carolina and BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado. He lives in New York City and enjoys the outdoors, skiing and biking in his free time.
