Douglas Kimmelman established Energy Capital in April 2005 and serves as its Senior Partner. Prior to founding Energy Capital. Mr. Kimmelman spent 22 years with Goldman Sachs in the Investment Banking division focused on the energy and utility sectors. Mr. Kimmelman was involved in developing the Constellation Power Source concept as the initial entry point for Goldman Sachs as a principal in the electricity markets. He was also involved in the formation of Orion Power. Mr. Kimmelman received a BA in Economics from Stanford University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Contour Venture Partners is a New York based venture capital firm focused on early stage financial services and applied technology companies. Contour works with companies focused on information technology, and the application of technologies into the consumer and business services markets. The principals at Contour have a long and successful track record, having directly supported over 40 companies through numerous market cycles since the late 1980s.

Stacy Schusterman is the CEO of Samson, an independent oil and gas company actively drilling throughout the US, Canada and the North Sea, as well as in making other energy related investments throughout the energy value chain.

Scott Magrane is a founding Managing Director of Coady Diemar Partners a small investment bank that specializes in renewable energy and energy tech. Scott has had over 25 years of energy industry experience including 15 years at Goldman Sachs where he started their energy tech business.

Cliff Adams is a Managing Director at Coady Diemar Partners, an investment bank, where he focuses on renewable energy and energy technology. Previously, Cliff was at Credit Suisse First Boston, where he executed transactions for a variety of energy technology, energy and industrial clients. Previously, Mr. Adams worked for Ford Motor Company in engineering and business planning. Mr. Adams holds BS and MS degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Columbia Business School. Cliff was a founder of New Resources Bank and is member of Environmental Entrepreneurs.
