I just had a nice little chat with the CEO of a wind power company that I think most of our readers would be a fan of the company. OwnEnergy, is focused on “community wind power projects” in the U.S.

OwnEnergy CEO Jacob Susman on RPS, incentives, community wind with SNL Energy

OwnEnergy Inc. founder and CEO Jacob Susman is leading a push to extend the federal investment tax credit to wind projects of up to 20 MW. Susman left Wall Street and founded wind company OwnEnergy in 2007, which partners with landowners and local developers to pursue renewable energy projects. Three projects totaling more than 100 MW are scheduled to enter the construction phase in 2012.
