Jason Lowenstein

GIS and Project Site Specialist

Jason is responsible for site screening and gathering necessary data for energy project developments.  In addition, Jason supports the origination and project development teams as needed.

Jason recently completed his Ph.D. in Atmospheric Physics at The University of Leeds, UK.  His thesis was focused on quantifying the production of warm rain forming in shallow cumulus clouds in the Caribbean.   Prior to his Ph.D., Jason received a master’s degree with distinction in Earth and Atmospheric Physics from The University of Leeds.  He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Physics from Skidmore College, NY, where he graduated summa cum laude.

Jason is an avid snowboarder and enjoys spending time with his wife and family.
