Russell Laplante

Senior Analyst

Russ is responsible for wind project financial structuring and general project development efforts.  

Prior to OwnEnergy, Russ was a financial analyst at Goldman Sachs in its Private Wealth Management Group, where he managed the investment portfolios for corporate executives, entrepreneurs, and non-profit organizations.

Russ is a Chartered Financial Analyst Level III Candidate, and holds a BA in Economics from Bates College. While at Bates, he wrote a senior thesis on the financial liberalization of the Chinese economy.

He is a member of Starting Bloc Institute for Responsible Business Leadership. He previously sat on the Investment Committee for
the Church of the Holy Trinity in Philadelphia. He is actively involved with Urban Promise in Camden, NJ. Russ currently resides in
New York City.
